Ayash, Yahya

(1966-1996)
   Known as "the Engineer," he introduced suicide bombing into Hamas's anti-Israeli tactics and manufactured suicide bomb belts. He was killed in a Shin Bet (Shabak) mission in which he used a cell phone packed with explosives that detonated.
